Welcome to Amble Events Committee
The Events Committee is a team of local volunteers who organise popular community events in Amble, Northumberland, including the Amble Puffin Festival and Amble Lights Parade.
The Puffin Festival began in May 2013 following a £10,000 Mary Portas grant and has grown into a well‑known, family‑friendly event attracting visitors from across the region. Amble Lights Parade, held alongside the town’s Christmas lights switch‑on, is a long‑standing festive tradition, with local groups creating banners and illuminated displays to celebrate the start of the Christmas season together.

Amble Sword Dancers
Amble Sword Dancers are a friendly group who perform outside pubs during the warmer weather and appear at local events. They dance the style of traditional longsword and the much quicker speed of Rapper.
Warkworth Film Club
Warkworth film club meets once a month in the Warkworth War Memorial Hall on Castle Street to show a mix of drama and documentary films for all to enjoy.
