Far Horizon Voices, the Warkworth-based acting group, are bringing world famous detective Sherlock Holmes and his loyal but dim-witted sidekick Dr Watson, back to the wilds of Northumberland in a brand new, irreverent comedy by local playwright Dave Stockwin.

During the play, under the disapproving eye of Conan Doyle, the hapless duo must adapt to the arctic conditions of the North East, while battling with local cuisine, an unintelligible villain and a feisty Mrs Hudson in their quest to uncover the dark secrets of Bluebell End. What could possibly go wrong?

Loosely based on ‘The Adventure of the Speckled Band’, FHV will be performing‘Never Mind the Sherlocks’ on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 June at Warkworth Memorial Hall, with all proceeds going to North Northumberland Hospice Care.

The shows, begin at 7.30pm, tickets cost £10 and will be available at N&F Young Amble, Warkworth Post Office and Store, fhvtickets@yahoo.com or at the door. Doors and licensed bar will open at 7pm.
